An even simpler solution is for Congress to act and allow the Amarillo facility to continue operating, rather than cutting off access to 40% of the U.S. helium supply.

"All that's needed" to solve this problem is widespread use of nuclear fusion power. Then we can recycle the helium exhaust and put it to good use.

Simple solution, no? :)
