It was a great time!

Many of us were sad to hear that MCC was being shuttered.  Rich had invited me to come and contriibute there at MCC.  It was a very enjoyable experience.  I have a feeling that you will be seeing not just some of the old favorite blog posts from MCC, but some of the bloggers that were writing for MCC as well writing in various areas for EE Times.

@Aeroengineer: Many of use were sad to hear that MCC was being shuttered.

I know -- I posted a few blogs on MCC in the early days before I took over as editor of All Programmable Planet.

I'm really sorry to see MCC go, but I hope everyone (the MCC members) will be happy here on the MCU Designline -- and I hope to be able to persuade the MCC bloggers to continue their blogging activities over here on EE Times...

If you work on high-speed digital systems (10Gbps and up), be sure to take a look at DesignCon Community. After all, those programmable devices have to communiate with the outside world.

Hi all,

I thoroughly enjoyed being a MCC member and I hope the spirit is maintained. I am sure the site would find anouther sponsor or may evolve in another way within or outside EETimes.

Great job, Rich.

This may just be the beginning.

All the best.

Rich, as an MCU passionate, I am truly sad to see MCC gone, as it was a cool place for many of us to tell our stories, learn from each other, and get in touch with colleagues all over the World.

I sincerely appreciate the chance you gave me by inviting me to blog for MCC, and it has been a new and trully growing experience for me.

I hope to see you and all of the MCC guys here at MCU Designline.

Keep in touch!

Nico.

You guys are too clever. If I give you a hint I might as well spill the beans. Let's just say that microcontrollers are at one end of it.

Welcome Rich and all from MCC.

I invite you to stop by our Internet of Things DesignLine as well where you will hopefully find useful news and discussion about some of the emerging applications areas for MCUs.

It's at: http://www.eetimes.com/internet-of-things-designline.asp

I wish the best Rich it looks this year had a lot of obstacles , I feel the Microcontroller as my home as you couldn't find something similar on the net with so detailed information. I wish the best in any new effort and you can consider me as a regular supporter /reader.

Hi,

A short time ago, there was a blog post concerning free or inexpensive logic simulators. This was on Microcontroller Central. I now find I need such a tool. Any chance this could be pulled up the transfer list to EE Times?

Thanks!

krauty,

It may be a bit before we can get the articles transferred over, but I'll get that one put on the list. In the meantime, if you like, I can send you a pdf copy of it. Email me at richard.quinnell@ubm.com and I can get it to you.
