UFA for smartphones

Anyone planning to use UFS t put ultra dense flash chips in their smartphone designs? This was new to me so I'm looking for input.

@selinz: Actually it was $1,600 for a TByte, my mistake (corrected), but your point is still well taken. Hard drive makers continue making incredible advances in their unique electro-mechanical technology--and its just like 4-5 companies now!

I guess flash will be very popular among memories in all sectors and applications. Its good to see people are putting so much effort in the reserach.

Really amazing, so many things happening in the flash industry. I never thought there would be such a large number of companies are involved in the flash products. Mind blowing and awesome.

I am truly amazed at how long hard drives have been able to keep ahead of the flash drives in cost. $1600 for 500Gb? I purchased 1TB minidrives from Fry's for $79...
