@David Ashton - Glad you liked Glide Path.

Done, you might have to check your junkmail folder.

Hi all!

I sent my submission to Caleb a few days ago. Is there a way someone could verify it has been received? I worry that it could wind up in some spam folder or something. Thanks!

@grover1, (& Karen & Max)

See, I told you Karen would sort you out!  (She's a very honorable person and I consider it an honor to get ribbed by her!)

I'd watch Max though, he probably diverted your check in the first place :-))

Max, I think this was Grover1's winning entry in that halloween competition...I can't find the page with the winning announcements

@David: It's not like you to be such a shrinking violet...

As soon as I saw this it made me think of that old classic (was it by Shakespeare?) that goes:

Roses are red,

Violets are blue,

Some poems rhymn,

But this one doesn't

Ah ... they don't write poems like this anymore...

Drones are, in essence, flying autonomous vehicles. Pros & cons surrounding drones today might well foreshadow the debate over the development of self-driving cars. In the context of a strongly regulated aviation industry, "self-flying" drones pose a fresh challenge. How safe is it to fly drones in different environments? Should drones be required for visual line of sight, as are piloted airplanes? Is the technology advancing faster than we can answer the questions it poses? Panelists: Chad Sweet, Director of Engineering, Qualcomm; Yannick Levy, VP Corporate Business Development, Parrot; Jim Williams, ex-FAA drone chief; Michael Drobac, Exec.
