In this case yes I do. These types of applications are the new 'glue' logic for programmable devices. We are now creating the glue between two or more different interfacesn instead of simple read/write chip select, IO enables we did back in the day...

This is really interesting... building an IP ecosystem focused to "stick" different interfaces seems a very good idea.

Do you know what the approximate price is for a MachXO2 device in medium volume production? -- this is the real point about including a programmable logic companion device to a SoC centric design
