MEMS still has so many possibilities.  It is always interesting to see articles about new applications.

ST Microelectronics is having one of the best periods of its existence, thanks to MEMS. It is taking down giants like Freescale with innovative and cost efficient MEMS designs. Will be good to read what they have in mind for MEMS in the future.

To say that Andy Weir's The Martian is an exploration of math, Mars, and feces is a slight simplification. I doubt that the author would have any complaints, though.
