For beauty, I've always liked a "murmuration of starlings". Just fits so well.

And apparently, it's a "blessing of unicorns". Which is also rather nice.

With my ARM hat on, I can't resist suggesting a "partnership of processrs" and a "community of cores".

I'm surprised that noone has quoted the collective noun for bankers, which is of course a "wunch".

... these days (times being what they are), I would go with:
A Conundrum of FPGAs

One could probably work in Lewis Caroll's "sillygism" somewhere, but "conundrum" is such an excellent word.

@Karen:   "A blight of beancounters"

Love that one, you know how I love beancounters......

The best one I know is "a wunch of bankers" though it's not electronics-related....

@Max: first off, nice use your spare time(?) coming up with these phrases.

Here are my additions to the list:

1. A gyre of MEMS

2. A vorpal of FPGAs

3. A galumphing of CPUs

4. A frabjous of Op-Amps

5. A jabberwocky of the above list!

By now I am sure you can tell I drew from Lewis Carroll's word arsenal.

@DMcCunney, I just laughed out loud. So true. This industry needs people like you to genuinely make fun of ourselves!

@Junko: @DMcCunney, this is a fantastic list. We could certainly use this stuff for headlines and names for blogs/columns!

My rates are reasonable... :-)

Credit a few decades of learning to read between the lines on industry pronouncements.  Too many are of the "And if you believe that, we have a bridge connecting Manhattan and Brooklyn you might be interested in..." variety,

A lot reduces to the old joke:

Q: What's the difference between the computer salesman and the used car salesman?

A: The used car salesman knows he's lying.
