Jack I think addressing this issue of "how good is good enough?" is one of the most challenging questions for engineers to answer....good stuff.

This is true.

Many firmware products are pushed onto the customers in the hope that they will find the bugs .

And the funny part is while fixing these bugs more new bugs gets introduced.
