One of the new approaches in this class is that I'll be asking questions during the first few days lectures about YOUR designs. On the last day of class I will then review YOUR designs and look at the trade-offs you might have when implementing with an SoC FPGA.
If you are thinking about using SoC FPGAs in your design, this is your chance to get into the details! CU in class.
What are the engineering and design challenges in creating successful IoT devices? These devices are usually small, resource-constrained electronics designed to sense, collect, send, and/or interpret data. Some of the devices need to be smart enough to act upon data in real time, 24/7. Specifically the guests will discuss sensors, security, and lessons from IoT deployments.
