The others were cute and inspirational, but it's got to be "made of meat" because of the ironic nature of the conclusions for isolation. And the clincher, "imagine how un-utterably cold the universe would be, if one were all alone" is classic.
The whole theme puts prejudice in perspective. But then again, how can sentient meat use anything else but itself as the reference point for all experience? We try, but perception is reality for most.
Well I need to give my vote to Caines Arcade. After working for one long summer at Mr Wizards Amusement center (an arcade with noisy pinpall and visoe games) I can really appreciate the quite of a cardboard version...
