Wouldn't mind a drone delivering my paper, though, given the inaccurate aim of our current paper "man!"

Strange, recently there was an article talking about the ongoing efforts to write software to differentiate between an enemy and a "Friend"

http://www.eetimes.com/author.asp?section_id=2&doc_id=1319596

Can we possibly train a drone to make the distinction? Weren't there cruiseships that were accidentally attacked at times of war in the past? Seems like I recall a story of this happening.

Dominos isn't the only one in the flying food department. You can have a taco air-dropped to your location in the SanFrancisco bay area!

This may or may not be a total farce.

Then again (to play devil's advocate) how many wars have been started due to human ego and misjudgement?

This article reminds of the recent news article where some unearthed secret government report says that " There was just a small toggle switch between the automatic system  throwing a Nuclear Bomb that would have wiped out an entire city of Washington DC if it fell on it or would have created a some 1500 high tsunami if it fell on a sea."

With fully autonomous weapons such hazards are possible! Because one important thing that differentiates a machine from Humans is what we call as "commonsense". Many a possible wars have been avoided in the past because Commonsense has prevailed over "Action & Reaction" scenario by which the machines are normally programmed
