Good to learn about the "HAXLR8R Program". There is a clear trend in hardware development aiming connectivity to cloud, taking a faster development approach. "Not re-inventing the wheel' means using each other's' devices. Stacks & software and hence making things more "open" to others. It is a win-win and also drives innovative products with a quick turnaround time.

I've been running a few of these "easy connect" devices through their paces. So far, they don't all necessarily live up to their promise. Or, maybe my expectations are too high.

I'm going to keep working on it. Right now, I'm trying to evaluate the Ti CC3000 and an Electric Imp.
