it has its own operating system? oooh, that isn't necessarily a good sign. If you want things to spread, tap into an existing community. Then again, maybe they've made something better than linux/android.
From the rather breif description, it sounds like a high resolution google glass... but in a cube instead. I'd love to see more in-depth info!
I can't figure out what to think about the smart watches. I mean the geek in me loves having all that technology crammed into that tiny package, but then again.. that screen just comes off as too big and clunky for a wristwatch.
I could se the benefit of knowing at a glance if I have mail/tweets etc. but I think I would prefer a more elegant interface for actually consuming the media.
Actually, it can sell well in the enterprise market for $800. Some of these devices are finding market in hospitals, mining and areas no one had expected will need these wearables. Yes, for the consumer market, price must come down of course.
Very good point - I think the smart watch is nothing but an effervescence that will go away in coming quarters. I do not see how reasonable people will wear that to work. I mean, it is not professiona and never will be cool. Unless they have a new dimension of shrinkage, we will not be close to that acceptability.
