Kudos to Karen and team: EE Live! site looks good. DESIGN West is now EE Live! Speakers will be happy to not have to write papers.

I like the new site and I like the expanded focus. The event has, for years, covered more than just embedded, but I think the name may have been pigeonholing the show a bit in some people's minds. The new name should dispell any of those questions.

Embracing open source and the Internet of things can only help. Both are areas with huge amounts of potential.
