What Software and Instruments Do We Use?

Thanks, Martin, for the recognition.

As may be inferred by this article, LabVIEW is the software that Bloomy Controls uses to control instruments. Is this not the defacto industry standard?

Regarding hardware, we use NI PXI instruments in our Universal Test System. This is our standard platform for mixed-signal functional test of PCBAs, subassemblies, and products.  We use NI USB instruments in our compact Universal Test System . And we use NI Single-Board Reconfigurable I/O (sbRIO) in our programmable instruments such as our Battery Simulator and Headless ATE.

Since you brought up The LabVIEW Style Book, I should mention that a 40% discount code is available to subscribers of Bloomy's quarterly newsletter, as well as visitors of The LabVIEW Style Book's companion web site .

Feel free to contact me with questions or comments: (860) 298-9925 x14.

Sincerely,

Peter Blume

To say that Andy Weir's The Martian is an exploration of math, Mars, and feces is a slight simplification. I doubt that the author would have any complaints, though.
