Nice to hear about the funding on the startups. Also it would be great to have a semiconductor fab in India, which would take around 5 years to solidify.

In the same lines, it's worthwhile to mention about a startup in India, establishing india's first nano semiconductor fab in Gandhinagar named De Core Nano Semiconductors Ltd. It houses crystal growth, processing, fabrication & material characterizing of Gallium Nitride wafers and manufacturing LED's and high power devices.

I was pleasantly surprised by the one Peter Clarke wrote about a few weeks back doing an SoC for wearables and headed by the former Moto CEO Sanjay Jha. That's one to watch.

Sure Rick - will start digging out info on good startups/in innovative tech and post them soon,

There are some good ones in PCB domain - or just a couple of them. Will get some more info and post them for our readers

Good news for the startups. Quite agree there are many good innovative companies in bangalore and hyderabad that needs capital.
