Ok, I get that most of these are just conjecture on what we could do, but some are perplexing on why we aren't already doing them. Take the heads up display for example. Companies have put these in place in the past, how come we aren't seeing the next generation of this in modern vehicles? Maybe I'm just missing them?

That depends on demand, market dynamics etc. the technology is there though.
