The iPad interface is now so intuitive to me that I find myself trying to use my fingers to zoom in/out on every screen I come across

Reminds me of the old story of a person who put a piece of paper to a computer screen expecting to send a fax.

What's a fax, anyway?

it's so much easier to use your fingers (so long as you aren;t currently playing a guitar).

Well, I can do a few good string bends to get that blues sound.

@MeasurementBlues: ...do you like the idea of using for fingers to zoom in on a signal?

Well duh! LOL  The iPad interface is now so intuitive to me that I find myself trying to use my fingers to zoom in/out on every screen I come across -- it always comes as an unpleasent surprise when I realize I'm not using a touch screen.

With regular displays you have to use your mouse (or control keys) to pan and zoom in/out ... it's so much easier to use your fingers (so long as you aren;t currently playing a guitar).

@MeasurementBlues: Have you ever used an Oscium product?

I think I've used all of them (except this one)

Like many of you, I was saddened to hear the news of Leonard Nimoy's death. His Star Trek character Mr. Spock was an inspiration to many of us who entered technical fields.
