It would have been nice if it was continued, I hope it will be available in open source communities. As providing support to this kind of initiatives will be beyond the original scope support infrastructure.

Yes, you are right they are called the game emulators, siumltaniously in this case if the person is more focused towards the games he will be more inclined for the game station, in this case it would be nice to havei t possiblity to use the normal OS on the game station. So what I was discussing is reverse emulation.

Truly you must be a CEO cuz only someone like that would assume a "reverse emulator" would have the necessary performace to run your "daily computing",,,

Where does he live? I willl then have to relocate! I think PS4 will do well and hopefully put a break on the decline of console as reported by the media. I think, however, that hard gamers will never go for virtual keyboards on iPad for the feeling of consoles. It will be here for a long time.

What is drive doing there when we can use solid state devices? Maybe Sony should replace the HDD with SSD to avoid the problem of system hanging up. Generally, PS4 has been getting a lot of positive reviews.

The PS3 natively supported Linux but they took that away for some reason.

Sure they can, it was called the Vita. The problem is, you just have to decide where your focus is. The PS4 has the focus of being extremely powerful. You can't focus on that an compromize on power (to prolong battery life). Even the gaming laptops that do OK in terms of graphics suck their batteries dry in an instant.

don't we all! I don't plan on buying one, but I wouldn't stop someone else from buying me one!

Nice work done, this is a post-mortem like Teardown of PS4. Looking at this teardown one will be eagerly waiting for Reverse Emulators that can run OS like Windows, Linux on Gaming Consoles, Emulators were used to run GameCDs on Computers but looking at this much sophisticated hardware I would love to have Reverse Emulators to use these devices in daily computing needs.

I guess that's called PS Vita. :)

From the ad, you can play PS4 game on Vita and vice versa. I haven't got my hand on it. I will see how well it works. On the other hands, MS is doing the same thing with XBox One and Windows 8.
