It seems as though partial electrification is the beginning of the new wave, a sign of things to come. Once those driving real-life commercial and personal vehicles see the benefits of partial electrification thanks to these mobile applications using fictional vehicles, it will no longer be a matter of imaginination or a leap of faith. We've been waiting a while on the electric car but this kind of partial re-orientation seems to be the real deal.
