I for one am happy to see an end to litigation. I have a project utilizing Micron RAM products and don't need potential disruption to product sources, on top of what I am already experiencing. The terms seem reasonable enough for Micron, and profitable enough for RAMBUS. Hopefully this will hold for the long term.
Wow. 13 years of litigation. They must be really glad that is over. 20 mil doesn't seem that much for that amount of time, but it is good they have the licensing agreement in place and can now concentrate on their business.
What are the engineering and design challenges in creating successful IoT devices? These devices are usually small, resource-constrained electronics designed to sense, collect, send, and/or interpret data. Some of the devices need to be smart enough to act upon data in real time, 24/7. Specifically the guests will discuss sensors, security, and lessons from IoT deployments.
