I'd like to see some basic sequential logic circuits acted out. I'd like to see (1) binary counter, (2) binary counter with bits reversed, (3) Johnson counter (forward and reverse), and (4) Gray code counter. You might try an LFSR -- except that it would end up being really random instead of just pseudo.
I don't know how much one can do with 30 minutes of drill. Even the drill in Stripes (1981) took all night to train, and they'd already had some experience. You're more likely to reenact the drill scene in Privates on Parade (1983).

I did drill when I was a conscript in the Rhodesian police about 40 years ago. They taught us (or tried to teach us) the movements by numbers - a bit like dancing. Our first drill instructor nearly gave up at one stage - we were totally uncoordinated. "You guys sound like a herd of buffalos crapping on the tarmac!" he shouted at us at one point. We did get better, slowly.
Later I frustrated our instructor by persistently mixing up my left and right. "Squad, Right Wheel!" he would command, and I would peel off to the left. Once he came and bellowed at me from the side - I of course had to keep a straight face and look straight ahead. I don't know why, but I started laughing. I thought I was dead (or at least condemned to a month of midnight guard duties) but the instructor started chuckling as well. He muttered some more profanities at me and went back to the head of the squad. It was a lucky escape and I tried really hard after that. I met him years later (he had since turned into a human being) and he remembered it well, and chuckled again.
