@Junko: One interesting company in the flash market today is infineon which has 65nm flash microcontrollers and is working on 40nm flash.
In contrary with the other companies you mentioned , they use this technology to enable manufacturing of low end microcontrollers using advanced processes , which can offer lower prices and unique capabilities like alot of ram and interesting hardfware units. For example , their xmc1000 family seems close to unbeatable for low end industrial microcontrollers,and that's without 40nm. It would be interesting to see what would they offer once they have access to 40nm.
