I could be wrong here, but I would assume that companies like IBM, advocating "smarter plant," should have its own internal privacy guidelines or best practice documents that tell its people and customers -- how IBM plans to protect privacy of people when the company executes on data collection.
I wonder if each company -- in the business of data collection -- has such guidelines, and if so, I would love to know what they might look like.
