Part of my evening recreation is taking Open Courseware courses at MIT (I know, I know! But after a lifetime of raising 5 kids, I deserve a break!). What this has to do with small power, I am not qualified to know. However, the video is marvelous and the inventor is the prof who teaches my Intro to Solid State Chemistry class.
Always interesting to know wher to study more about exciting things and you are right high power technology lies on a circular continuum. As you may know, researches on very high performance ferrites are now exploring the latest evolution of amorphous material and nano-technologies. Solid State Chemistry is somewhat part of researches in that area.
