Congradulations Gordon, You're the man!!!

Great, now put it out there in the "real world" on a super wi-fi tower, aerospace telemetry,

or in space where less than perfect things occur and I get it! Thanks all

check the latest on wwwdesignnews.com, the other UBM classroom this Monday.

I shall see you all there. Rod. R.

Gordonmx, your the winner of the "How do you get common mode" contest.

Please send me your work mailing address for a complimentary Starbucks gift card, al@wildrivertech.com

Good job in answering the question!

Thanks folks.

Make sure you visit Rohde Schwarz in booth 707 at DesignCon next week, and WRT booth #535.

Will anyone be at DesignCon next week? We already onw about Steve and Al. I will be moderating both panels.

I learned a great deal this week, thank you.

Thank you very much!

Thank you for a great presentation

Radiated/conducted interference and system noise can cause common mode problems.  Got my words twisted.

Rookie

Al will be part of a panel called "Closing the loop: What to do when measurements and simulations don;t match." Al will speak about workflow. That's at 3:34 and will run for 75 minutes.

What if one of the input lines is wet, frozen, open, shunt, leaky, less than perfect...

Rookie

The panel Steve refers to will be at 2:00.

Thursday I will be in the Chiphead Theater EMI/PI/SI they are all related get used to it, with five people far smarter than me.

Thanks Al and ALL for a Great Week, Stay Warm!

Thanks Al! I really enjoyed the week.

Thanks Al and EETimes for a great week of very informative webinars.

Hello again,

(Carried over from yesterday)

So if I measure the null-to-null spacing in the S11 plot from a non-50 ohm transmission line and then calculate the delay using your formula given earlier:  delta f in GHz) = 1/(2*Td) is Td also the group delay?  Will a non-consistent group delay issue show up as variation in the measured S11 null-to-null spacing?

Rookie

Remeber to post questions here

Hope I get a starbucjk coffee gift card

, if I don't get my morning coffee, i get very cranky and you don't want me to be cranky
