How well they will be able to handle similar products from three different companies? I think these kind of takeovers are simply for purchasing the market stack of the other brand. All the three companies will continue to behave the same way they were before takeover with all their models as it is. Upon time the took-over brands will not survive in the market without innovative models and up-gradations.
