I'm all in favor of high speed Internet and improved networking technologies. What I find frustrating is that there are so many software glitches and browser issues that my attempt to watch the "State of the Union" address this evening failed. Although I'm connected to high speed Internet in Chattanooga (famous for high speed Internet access), the streaming videos all crashed (with a helpful message that I should try again in 30 minutes) or locked up. Cable access couldn't manage and I can't access the Electric Power Board fiberoptic Internet from this location. I ultimately heard about 5 minutes. I did succeed in finding the text of the speech and read it as an alternative (plain text seemed to make it through a 30 MB connection). While we're trying to improve our ability to "run" on the Internet, how about a little more attention of debugging softeware so that we can at least "walk" with low resolution video and audio.
