haha, well, I guess that depends on which definition of "write" you are going off of. It is literally writing, though it leaves a lot to be desired on the creative process side of things!

Maybe I shoul dhave labelled it "text dispensing" or something like that.

for a split second I though the robot actually writes poetry and was a amzed at the progress of AI that I failed to notice while having lunch...but it turns out the device just dispenses some sand, somewhat precisely I would give you that but it is far from writing poetry as understood commonyly by humans...maybe this is poetry writing in robots mind ;-)
