I agree -- and I haven't forgotten your contributions -- it's just that I'm bringing them over by hand one at a time (many of the articles contained links and cross-references to other articles that have to be changes, and the images are a different size on EE Times, and ... arrgghhh :-)

Hard to say -- which old lady are you talking about?

Wow, I had to look at that image for a long time before I could see the old lady, but eventually I did!

DrFPGA,

"I'm I the only one who just can't see the old lady.. "

I also haven't found her, but I was told there is one hiding ... let me know when you found her ;-)

I was also sad when APP was stopped, there was a lot of interesting stuff and a lot coming up, neuronal networks from a PHD student for example and last but not least your chess playing FPGA (what are your plans there). I think Big Max did an outstanding job on APP and I guess without him it wouldn't have even existed. We should be all very thankful for all the friendships he built with his work on APP. So thank you again, Max.

Cheers, Tobias

To say that Andy Weir's The Martian is an exploration of math, Mars, and feces is a slight simplification. I doubt that the author would have any complaints, though.
