@Crusty: Live chat was great last week it would be a shame not to do it as a regular feature. When is the next one due?

In fact we're going to ghave one tyhsi coming Friday -- I'll be posting a blog about it later today

Tell me more -- do the participants have to bring their gadgets, or will a slideshow do? How long do they get to talk for?

I just found this link

@Garcia: I love the way you always introduce some tidbits of trivia in your blog posts...

Thanks Garcia -- unfortunately, some people think all of my blogs are trivia (or trivial LOL)

"A petard was a small container of gunpowder used to blow breaches in gates or walls."

In Spain, we use the word "petardo" for the little toy fireworks that looks like a tiny TNT/gunpowder barrel. When I was a child, buying some "petardos" was really easy and cheap; of course, nowadays there are a lot of laws banning this kind of "toys".

@kfield: Don't forget that we're recruiting participants for the third annual Gadget Smackdown! at EE Live!,

Tell me more -- do the participants have to bring their gadgets, or will a slideshow do? How long do they get to talk for? Do you have a link for the relevant item on the EE Live! site?

@Maxthemagnificent Don't forget that we're recruiting participants for the third annual Gadget Smackdown! at EE Live!, one of our most popular events that tends to descend into chaous and silliness. Even before the beer.

Thanks for the note.  Sadly, I was not able to attend live as our project is now in beta test, and obviously things are a bit 'crunchy'.
