Funny how words look different when reading a comment after hitting "Post".

I'm really glad they added the Edit/Delete feature.  It can be really hard to get HTML links correct the first time, and it was a PITA having to reply to your own comment to correct them in the old days.

@Karen: "If Max is involved you can be pretty sure that the spelling is correct"

Well not altogether.  I have come to respect Max as an accomplished  purveyor of the English language - someone who knows how to wield apostropes and semicolons, even if he does give in to certain weird americanisms occasionally.

However I think he has the same problem as I do:  his fingers do not always do what his brain commands.  I have come to really appreciate the Edit/Delete link at the bottom of the posts as a way to thwart my fingers' more disobedient transgressions :-)

If Max is involved you can be pretty sure that the spelling is correct as is the meaning of fantastical: conceived or appearing as if conceived by an unrestrained imagination

Max the Infallible doesn't have the same ring as Max the Magnificent!

@Betajet: I have an etiquette question: would you prefer that we let you be "the guy in the Hawaiian shirt" or should we all flatter/imitate you by wearing our own Hawaiian shirts?

Well, the do say that imitation is the sincerest form of flattery LOL

Nothing would give me more pleasure that to see the entire conference and exhibition dominated by Hawaiian shirts to the extent that those not so-adorned feel out of place and rush out to buy their own LOL

@Antedeluvian: Is that a deliberate spelling mistake or is it part of the fact that it is fantastical.

It doesn't get much more fantastical than that LOL

I'll alert the person in charge

PS You've got a nerve raising an issue of spelling Mr so-called "Antedeluvian" .... need I say more?
