1mW per Gbit/second is a good target.

One number I have for comparison from Xilinx in Spartan-6 is 150mW per 3.2Gbps serial transceiver. Anyone else have more recent #s?

I wonder what the likelihood is that MOOC's will actually prevent peoople from going to class. It may be appealing but compared to something mandatory, it would have to take a backseat I presume.
