Maybe we should have a vendor of Hawaiian shirts have a booth at EE Live! LOL

Max,

I am glad that you clarified the point that you wear more than just a Hawaiian shirt.  I was getting a little worried.  Not the sort of image I was looking to have of you.

There's an easy way to get more Hawaiian shirts at EE Live: hold it in Hawaii.

Max, the solution is to surf the wave of conformity. Once critical mass is achieved (50% +1?), the rest of the crowd will feel out of place and in lunch time, they will rush out to the nearest Hawaiian shirt store!

Why not make it the official garb? It would help exclude all the boring types in shirt & tie :-)

@Betajet: Mine is black with big yellow flowers.  Very elegant.  I'm glad to have a good opportunity to show it off :-)

I'm looking forward to seeing it. I will be wearing Hawaiian shirts throughout the conference (I wear them every day) -- and I would love to see other people wearing them throughout the conference -- but for those who have only one Hawaiian shirt (say a black one with big yellow flowers), perhaps the best time to flaunt it would be at the conference party on Tuesday afternoon (4:00pm to 5:00pm, I think).

Maybe we can have an unofficial competition to decide who is sporting the most bodacious Hawaiian shirt?

@Betajet: Who knows, maybe we'll even make Dilbert :-)

Then all of my struggles will have been worth while LOL

Don;t forget that you boasted "I've got a good one" (I'm assuming you were talking about a Hawaiian shirt :-)  Now you have to wear it to EE Live!

Just take a look at the photos at the EE Live! site.  Pretty drab, huh?  No wonder people think EEs are dull.

Now imagine all those visitors in boring solid colors wearing wild, colorful Hawaiian shirts!  Wonderfully subversive, IMHO.  Who knows, maybe we'll even make Dilbert :-)

@DrFPGA: Maybe you can get the folks who did the mustache camera to do a Hawaiian shirt camera at EE Live.

Ooohhhh -- now there's an idea!
