IHS teardowns show that Bosch's accelerometer was also in the iPad air and iPad mini 2.

well,, according to IHS...ST and Bosch were tied in 2012...and then Bosch grew by 4 times the market average while ST declined slightly....

Can GloFo win Apple?

Bosch Sensortec became a big player thanks to their design wins with Apple. The same goes to GloFo, the only way for GloFo to get closer to TSMC's revenue level is only by winning business with Apple.

Not absolutely clear about the iPad Air, but as it says in copy....Bosch won some Apple slots, ST lost some apple slots.

As data rates begin to move beyond 25 Gbps channels, new problems arise. Getting to 50 Gbps channels might not be possible with the traditional NRZ (2-level) signaling. PAM4 lets data rates double with only a small increase in channel bandwidth by sending two bits per symbol. But, it brings new measurement and analysis problems.
