Are you aware of any SATA or SAS controller chip manufacturers that will actually sell to a small business that cannot 'prove' we will sell 20,000 units out of the chute? (e.g. intel, marvel, etc.) we cannot get the time of day from these guys
we need to be able to be the host/initiator and the device/target.
a few years ago, we ended up doing our own ATA (ide) controller on an fpga. awful time consuming and expensive...
