That is very good effort. I may like to add following. We have similar club, but we meet thrice a month at differnt locations, due to limited time. Also, we encourage all discipline to get involved. For success, you need to have finance, HR, all engineering discplines to get involved. We also have brief talk about some success story.

I am glad you noticed it, Susan. Yep, that was the first thing that caught my eye, too, when I saw that wall of their heroes! Nice touch.

The wall of engineering heroes is a nice touch. They even have Hedy Lamarr. When she died, my boss taped her obit to his office door (yes, he had a real door to a real office.)

If I am not mistaken, I think I've heard that there is Beijing IC Coffee Club; and another one in Shenzhen.

As data rates begin to move beyond 25 Gbps channels, new problems arise. Getting to 50 Gbps channels might not be possible with the traditional NRZ (2-level) signaling. PAM4 lets data rates double with only a small increase in channel bandwidth by sending two bits per symbol. But, it brings new measurement and analysis problems.
