@Rick: I have one friend & ex-colleague who is working for this company from India. That is how I heard about this company. But I did not know the history of this company before reading your article. As I understand Stryker is doing great in medtech and especially there is a big market existing for this company in Asia-Pacific region. What is the market share & growth rate of this company region-wise (US vs Europe vs APAC etc.) and how much impact the Obamacare would cause?

@Rick, the questions that i hear about a lot in Medical equipment and Medical in general are related to IoT and data. I hear that companies are serious about building connected devices for better care and to be able to reduce the cost as the patients need not to be admitted to hospitals as they can be monitored from the comfort of home. Also, another is the power of data mining for diagnostics capabilities.
