The number of ideas does seem to increase:

And we know in general that ideas are becoming more complex, that ideas need to compete with the short time-to-roi of apps, and that industry does claim a shoratge of talent.

Both could be true, Kris. I know one incessant obstacle where I work is "we have to make a business case." The perpetual reaction by the bean counters, you know, those in a company who self-identify as the "leadership," to any new ideas.

is this assesstment really true? "the industry is experiencing a widening gap between coming up with ideas and having the ability to execute them"...I thought the oposite, new products are entering the market at increasongly smaller time intervals
