Pcduino is the most versatile, powerful and robust development platform I have used. I have used it in robotics, signage, electronic control and various other applications. This is the development platform you are looking for. I have dropped, left it in the sun, burnt traces etc. and it still works... From beginner to professional this will have the power to support your ideas. This platform is only limited by the size of your own imagination. Android is also available as an OS ;)

Thanks Junko for posting this. I often wondered what pcDuino was and where the PC came into it. It now makes sense.

I must get one to have a play.

NEXT UPCOMING BROADCAST
In conjunction with unveiling of EE Times’ Silicon 60 list, journalist & Silicon 60 researcher Peter Clarke hosts a conversation on startups in the electronics industry. One of Silicon Valley's great contributions to the world has been the demonstration of how the application of entrepreneurship and venture capital to electronics and semiconductor hardware can create wealth with developments in semiconductors, displays, design automation, MEMS and across the breadth of hardware developments. But in recent years concerns have been raised that traditional venture capital has turned its back on hardware-related startups in favor of software and Internet applications and services. Panelists from incubators join Peter Clarke in debate.
