Expect me if you see me Max, much as I'd love to attend, 3 AM is not when I am at my best......

Incidentally I could not get your time zone converter to work properly, here is a more user friendly one (read: friendly to old farts like me):

Hi David -- I'll use your converter next time -- I'm sorry you can't join us -- but maybe you'll wake up in the wee hours and not be able to get back to sleep and think "I wish there was someone I coudl chat with" ... at which point a light would go off ... LOL

Well, that and the fact that you pay my wage LOL

Are you sure that you are actually sewing something in that hat -- I thought that was where you kept your secret candy stash?

I have two Arduino Leonard-based projects, a few PIC-based projects, A Raspberry pie with a small Adafruit LCD, some FPGA projects, two game wardens, seven hunters and a cow. I might be able to chat about one or the other of those.

(Bonus points to anyone who gets the reference)

@Duane: ...A Raspberry pie with a small Adafruit LCD...

It's not the size of your LCD ... it's what you do with it that counts LOL

So, can I take it you will be joining us on Friday?

Thats about as likely as getting Farther Christmas there in person with his elf.

I am in the dog house as I have had to buy a new laptop today, because XP is no longer being supported.

Should mean some of the programmes will work a bit faster. But purchase cost, lowest was the only factor.

May be I can emulate Icarus and drop in all fired up next year after a do it yourself fly past the sun. LOL

Ha:  I have a working windows98 machine.  Their are drivers that were older hardware never ported.

For me it is always about the drivers. Otherwise I would use a Mac.  I have some old ones of those too.  There is a MIDI program that works best under OS9.  Apple removed finder MIDI (Well all of real Quicktime*) from Mavericks. If it was not designed at NeXt, It was not designed by Apple. (But I digress)

*Quicktime player should be called Quartzplayer now.
