Facebook and Google getting into the drone market.  Not surprising.  Does Amazon already own a drone company, or do they just plan to buy from the market?

How high can a drone ("atmospheric satellite") fly without interfering with aviation or regulatory issues? At that altitude, how wide a geographical area would receive WiFi coverage? It sounds like this technology would be best for adding coverage to a specific remote location but not for adding coverage to a continuous large area. I see the drone can prove routing and connecting capabilities between devices within a remote area but how does the drone connect to the world wide internet?
