Indeed, a lot of Apple products are purchased simply because they are Apple products. Existing Apple customers have experience with the quality, ease of use and elegant design for which Apple is famous. They trust Apple -- it's as simple as that.
Mike, then why Samsung and not any other android os...i know for sure that Sony or HTC phones are far better both in performancy and quality wrt Samsung. I thing Samsung used the inside information about iPhones to drive their sales of Galaxy phones.
I chose a samsung phone for the android os not because of any of the features in dispute. That and the bigger screen. Funny how apple decided a bigger screen was important too. I'd call that an admission that samsung was preferred for reasons other than the petty claims we see here now.
