@EC_Harshit: I am also hoping that heavy local PC resource usage is contained in addition to quick launch for my specific device only.

If you post some more details here, I'll ask the folks at TI if they would care to comment.

Seems lot of improvement from CCS 5.0 release.

Support for various new devices through App is a nice idea and connects easily with the smart device/content nomenclature.

I am also hoping that heavy local PC resource usage is contained in addition to quick launch for my specific device only.

@PONCHOBONJO: ...once a chinese proffesor told me when i was taking and advanced control course, "the simplest that works"...

I agree -- it's the old KISS principle ("Keep it simple, stupid!" :-)

totally aggre Max, once a chinese proffesor told me when i was taking and advanced control course, "the simplest that works" in response to an inquiry that ask for more models and all the math associated with advanced control.

sometimes i tell my son ( an engineering student) if a switch lets you control, use it! thanks TI !!!

The Simple Button

Years and years ago I bounght one of those digital cameras that featured a 10-hour hard disk -- it had enough controls to fly an aircraft -- my favorite one was a red button with the legend "simple" -- when you pressed this, it deactivated most of the other controls (apart from start/stop recording and zoom in/out) and did everything automatically.

I loved that button

I think it's a great idea to have a "Simple Mode" in an IDE to get you up-and-running
