Need for short life cycle products

With faster obsolescence  of the leading edge products , it is time for the Tablet and phablet manufactureres  to adopt the Chinese philosophy where the products are designed to last only for a couple of years

That way there will be a continuous renwable market for such devices and new innovative products will readyly find buyers.

Following the IDC   report, I think it is I deed a rough economic time for tablet producers. There is a shift in the demand for tablets since many people are now going for large screen phone. You may wonder why people are going for phablets. I think if it is not for the screen size nobody will be interested in tablets since they share the same features as those in many phones present in the market currently. Price is another factor leading to this fall in demand.

I have always wondered why tablet makers don't add phone capability. I would then junk my smartphone in favor of my tablet.
