Yes you are crazy but that is beside the point. You've developed a habit. See this article Scientific American.

http://blogs.scientificamerican.com/mind-guest-blog/2013/11/12/should-habits-or-goals-direct-your-life-it-depends-2/

And you should be glad that you have.  As the article discusses, one of the effects of Parkinson's Disease is to ruin you're ability to form habits.

"As the disease progresses, fewer behaviors would be controlled by habitual processes, and even routine behaviors would have to be executed with relatively slow, deliberative goal-directed processes."

I was being playfully informal :-)

In all our back-and-forth I've never used the dot -- and you only just noticed?

@MeasurementBlues: I do things my way.

And we all applaud you for your spirit -- but do you have to wear those trousers?

@MeasurementBlues: Is it just me? Am I crazy?

Remember that you are the guy who starts foaming at the mouth if you see someone slice their bagel in half...

What are the engineering and design challenges in creating successful IoT devices? These devices are usually small, resource-constrained electronics designed to sense, collect, send, and/or interpret data. Some of the devices need to be smart enough to act upon data in real time, 24/7. Specifically the guests will discuss sensors, security, and lessons from IoT deployments.
