Basically anything that at least 10% people will use it....great mobile interface to what?...if I need to have a smartphone in the piocket to communicate with the wearable I don't see much point...I have not gained anything in fucntionality, I can just take out a smartphone out of my pocket and do what I normally do
A device with an accelerometer that could detect a fall and send a message for help could be valuable to the elderly in the "I've fallen and can't get up" situation. It might take some research to identify a valid profile and avoid false alarms, though.
We live in a world with an increasing number of diabetics and people who suffer from hypertension. But where are the wearable devices which can permanently measure glucose levels or blood pressure? This alone must be a billion dollar market!
we are still waiting for a killer app with wearable...it doesn't really matter whether people understand what wearable menas...i do understand the terms but have no intention of wearing anything until i see some value in this...price for me doesn't matter, utility does
