I bet such RFID chips are expensive and will considerably increase the price of the products, I don`t like to give a lot of money on clothes and prefer buying Van Heusen shirts. It`s great to hear that Benetton's clothing brand started implementing RF technology in their products, this will allow them to track individual items of clothing and study the market more thoroughly.
Just like any other consumer I am interested how the introduction of RFID technology will affect the price of the clothing products? Using such technology for retail merchandise must be done by carefully studying the market and check if the price increase won`t affect the company`s sales.
