I am really excited about tomorrows chat. I have been an analog engineer for 42 years and have seen the "evolution" of the analog designer morph into something quite different than the 60s pioneers or the 70s designers (me). It will be fun and interesting to hear the other engineer's inputs and experiences on this controversial topic.

Actually coconuts are an early form of communication. All you need is two plus a string

Thery are also very useful if you find yourself in need of making the sound of a horse clopping along (now I have "Monty Python and the Holy Grail" in my head)

NEXT UPCOMING BROADCAST

Drones are, in essence, flying autonomous vehicles. Pros and cons surrounding drones today might well foreshadow the debate over the development of self-driving cars. In the context of a strongly regulated aviation industry, "self-flying" drones pose a fresh challenge. How safe is it to fly drones in different environments? Should drones be required for visual line of sight – as are piloted airplanes? Join EE Times' Junko Yoshida as she moderates a panel of drone experts.
