I think about 3 PM our Friday.  I have a big Videoconference reinstall on Friday, so if I am finished by 3pm I'll have something to look forward to before I go home for the weekend.  Look forward to it...

Part 3 will post around the same time June 27. It has a special bonus question that did not appear in the original 12 at Test & Measurement World.

Part 1 will be in tomorrow's T&M newsletter. You do receive it, don't you?

Hi Martin and thanks for that.  I got 1/2/3 right and 4 wrong, but I think that was mainly because the question in no. 4 is missing and I didn't have a clue what you were after :-)

As data rates begin to move beyond 25 Gbps channels, new problems arise. Getting to 50 Gbps channels might not be possible with the traditional NRZ (2-level) signaling. PAM4 lets data rates double with only a small increase in channel bandwidth by sending two bits per symbol. But, it brings new measurement and analysis problems.
